5.300 visitors from 36 countries attended EuroCIS 2009, the European trade fair for retail IT from 10 -12 February in Düsseldorf, Germany. ETHALON was one of 216 exhibitors. Together with partners, ETHALON presented a host of IT solutions around the Point-of-Sale. ETHALON's POS and Store System PRIAMOS was also exhibited at easy-cash and IBM booths.

Top managers from the retail sector attended EuroCIS 2009 to inform themselves about the latest technological advances. Despite the gloomy world financial outlook, both exhibitors and visitors were generally upbeat about their investments over the coming months.
Sporting its own stand for the first time, EuroCIS was very successful for ETHALON. The partner concept "IT rund um den Point-of-Sale" (IT around the Point-of-Sale") was received well.

On the fringe of the EuroCIS, the
Retail Europe Award
was presented for the second time by the EHI Retail Institute. ETHALON's PRIAMOS installation at premium shoe retailer Ludwig Görtz was runner-up in the category "Best In-store Solution".
