The Nuremberg-based retailer WÖHRL sells top-branded clothing in over 40 locations in Germany. ETHALON has advised WÖHRL's board of directors since mid-2008 on matters of strategic IT modernization with regard to the re-definition of the application landscape.

Dirk Rossmann GmbH

With 20,000 employees and over 1,500 stores, ROSSMANN is one of the largest retailers in the German drugstore market. The 2009 turnover of 3.125 billion Euros places ROSSMANN amongst the leading grocery retailers in Germany. ROSSMANN uses ETHALON’s ARGOS product for its workforce management planning.

CHRIST Juweliere und Uhrmacher seit 1863 GmbH

The German jeweller CHRIST has been trading for over 140 years. ETHALON has helped CHRIST with the porting of enterprise applications into an IBM WebSphere Portal since May 2005. Technological collaboration in the optimization of CHRIST's workforce planning tool led to the naissance of ETHALON's own ARGOS personnel planning software.

HEINRICH DEICHMANN-SCHUHE GmbH & Co. KG

The DEICHMANN Group is Europe's largest shoe retailer and is active in 19 countries. The company offers a range of fashionable, quality shoes at a very low price for all age ranges. DEICHMANN uses ETHALON's electronic Workforce Management software ARGOS.

Ludwig Görtz GmbH

With over 200 stores and 3000 staff, Ludwig Görtz GmbH is one of Germany's leading shoe retailers. The business has been in operation for over 130 years. ETHALON brought Görtz on stream with enterprise portal technology and is developing a modular ERP system for this SMB customer. Furthermore, Görtz was ETHALON's first reference for the PRIAMOS POS and Store System, based on modern Java/J2EE technology, IBM infrastructure components and a service-oriented architecture (SOA).

Max Bahr Holzhandlung GmbH & Co. KG

With 80 stores, MAX BAHR ist one of Germany's leading Do-it-Yourself chains and part of the Praktiker Group since February 2007 - one of Europe's D.I.Y. market leaders. ETHALON has supported Max Bahr since 2004 with enterprise application modernization in an IBM WebSphere user portal.

Optiker Bode GmbH

With more than 70 stores, Optiker Bode is one of the largest family-run optician businesses in Northern Germany. Since 2009, Optiker Bode uses a tried-and-tested real-estate management solution implemented by ETHALON on an IBM Lotus Domino basis. The company uses it to manage all contacts, addresses, contracts and renewal deadlines for all its rental properties.

Snipes Textil GmbH

Snipes is Germany's leading sneaker- und streetwear chain of stores and expanding strongly in Europe. In order to help Snipes plan growing numbers of store staff as efficiently as possible, the company has chosen to implement ETHALON ARGOS.

Hermes-OTTO International

Hermes-OTTO International offers business clients a complete portfolio of commercial services in the most important global marketplaces. The spectrum spans creative services such as design and product development, sourcing of textiles and consumer goods from a network of sourcing offices, quality control on the ground and transportation logistics as well as financial services. ETHALON built a "Trade to Business 2.0" platform for Hermes-OTTO International - a Java application for creating and tracking orders between customers and suppliers in the sourcing markets.

Deutsche Rentenversicherung Schwaben

Deutsche Rentenversicherung Schwaben is a branch of the German National Pension Fund. In 2008 ETHALON is providing DRV Schwaben with IT consulting and coaching in the administration of IBM Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM).

Trade Fairs and Congresses

Messe Frankfurt GmbH

The Messe Frankfurt Group's trade fairs lead the world in the consumer goods, textiles, architecture, technology and automotive technology sectors. The group comprises 29 companies, five locations and 48 international sales partners and has a presence in more than 150 countries. ETHALON developed a web application according to individal requirements for the calculation of commission on floor space at international fairs.

BLG Logistics Automobile GmbH & Co. KG

BLG LOGISTICS is a specialist global player in automobile contract and container logistics. ETHALON has been supporting BLG LOGISTICS AUTOMOBILE since January 2006 in the development and implementation of Java projects in an enterprise portal environment based on IBM WebSphere technology. Regular on-site training and consulting also feature in the project remit.

FETTE is reknowned worldwide for precision tools and metalworking. ETHALON has helped FETTE with the mobile availability of collaboration applications and data processing in business scenarios featuring IBM Lotus Notes Domino.

Siemens Enterprise Communications GmbH & Co. KG is a global player in open communications solutions for enterprises of all sizes. Since 2006 ETHALON has supported Siemens Enterprise Communications with the integration of telephony into IBM Lotus Sametime and IBM WebSphere Portal.
